Dinesh Burrenchobay, Head of Project
Dinesh oversees the day to day operations of the company on a worldwide basis and ensures that the future strategic plans for growth are executed in a timely manner. He reports to the Managing Director. Prior to joining Veling, he was Executive Vice President for Human Resources & Organisational Development at Air Mauritius Limited and part of the leadership team which implemented a critical transformation programme following a McKinsey consultants’ study together with the implementation of a new organizational structure to sustain the changes of the national airline.
Dinesh had a successful career in the Hospitality where for a decade he was Head -Corporate Human Resources of Sun Resorts Ltd (Mauritius) and One&Only Resorts (part of the luxury hospitality group – Kerzner International) for the 3200 staff in the Indian Ocean region. He also participated in a number of projects and hotel openings on a global basis for Kerzner International. Dinesh was an active member of the Global HR team providing best practices across the regions.
He holds a Business studies degree from the City of London Polytechnic (UK) and has followed a number of Executive Education courses at Cornell University (US) and HEC Business School (France) and is based at our Head Office in Mauritius.
Michael Dingemans – Consultant
Michael played an important role in the negotiation and signing of the FBO Agreement with the port authorities in St Kitts in August 2010. Since that time he has been a consultant for Veling on this project.
Michael has a long experience living and working in the Caribbean having arrived in 1987. Initially, he worked for P&D International, a UK publishing firm specializing in cruise ship promotions and tourist magazines. He became Regional Manager for Leeward Islands for P&D International and was responsible for the continued development of the company’s magazine portfolio in the Eastern Caribbean, which at the time of his departure in December 1999, the company had a total value in excess of US$25 million secured by over 40 publications.
In 1999, he and his wife bought St Maarten Events from a publishing group that that was disinvesting from St Maarten and set up SeaGrass Limited and has been publisher of the company since that time. He also consulted for other magazine companies and set up airline magazines for Ralston Publications Limited and was responsible for titles in St Maarten, US Virgin Islands and Aruba.
Before specialising in tourist related products in the Caribbean, Michael was in the hotel industry and worked for Sun International owned then by Sol Kerzner. He comes from an artistic and architectural orientated family and lives in London.
Paris Forget, Project Manager
Paris Forget has been working for the company for the past 10 years. He has been responsible for all aircraft operations, including aircraft registration and fleet management activities in the Mauritius jurisdiction, and is currently in charge of project development including the corporate aviation sector whilst also responsible of the Information Systems Department. He actively participated in the setting up of the first FBO in the Region for General Aviation (Mauritius) Ltd, a sister company of Veling Ltd.
Paris holds a Master’s degree in aerospace engineering from ENSICA (Toulouse), and a business administration degree from Institut de l’Administration des Entreprises (IAE) (Toulouse). He is based in Mauritius.
Desigen Vythilingum, Head of Aircraft & FBO Operations
Desigen Vythilingum rejoined our company as Head of Aircraft & Terminal Operations. He will be responsible for the daily operational activities of our Aircraft Operations Department and FBO Terminal Operations including all liaising with aircraft operators for Ground handling and The YU Lounge activities . Prior to his current assignment, Desigen worked forDubai-based United Aviation Services , International Trip Support company as HQD Vendor relation. He was also part of the team for the setting-up of our first FBO, General Aviation (Mauritius) Ltd, as Head Aircraft Operations.
Desigen holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of Mauritius and a Business Management degree from Bangalore University (India). He will be based in St Kitts & Nevis.
